Key factors to consider:
- Availability: Can it be delivered this week
- Load capacity: Single, couple or large active family
- Noise levels: If you use economy 7 or work from home, you don’t want to be disturbed by your washing machine!
- Frequency of use: If used many times during the week then the energy rating is an important consideration
- Price: A more expensive washing machine often has a longer life span, but is it really cheaper per year of ownership????
Important services to consider
Delivery
We recommend selecting delivery: Washing machines are heavy and bulky. They typically weigh between 60-80kg and can be difficult to move within your home and through doorways.
Installation
Electrical and plumbing connections need to be within 1.5 metres of the appliance.
Your old washing machine will be disconnected. Your new machine will be un-boxed, connected to the electricity, mains water and waste, and then tested to ensure there are no leaks.
If the washing machine is a smart one, it will also be connected to your wifi.
Recycle
If recycling is added to your order, the delivery team we’ll also take your old appliance away, along with the packaging from your new washing machine.
